The Reportinator is a TeachSmarts product for teachers who need a fast Google Classroom student results directory.

Last updated: 28 June 2026

1. Who We Are

The Reportinator is provided by TeachSmarts. You can contact us at andrew@teachsmarts.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, importing Classroom data, viewing student records, sending email reports, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use The Reportinator for a school or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to use the service for that organisation and to access the student or classroom information you submit.

3. Educational Use

The Reportinator helps teachers review Google Classroom enrolment, coursework, submissions, grades, topics, and related Drive comments for students they teach. You remain responsible for reviewing all information before relying on it or sharing it with parents, students, or colleagues.

4. Accounts and Google Access

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for using Google services only in ways permitted by Google and your school. When you authorise Google access, The Reportinator uses that access to perform the actions you request, such as browsing active classes, loading student submissions, exporting to Sheets, and sending summary emails. You must not authorise access unless you have the right to do so.

5. Student Data and Permissions

If you invite students to use the service or send reports to students, you are responsible for ensuring your school has provided any required notices, permissions, consents, or lawful bases for collecting and using student information.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the service, interfere with it, attempt to bypass plan limits or security controls, upload unlawful or harmful content, scrape or reverse engineer the service, share access tokens, impersonate another person, or use The Reportinator in a way that breaches laws, school rules, third-party rights, or these Terms.

7. Plans, Payments, and Availability

Paid features, usage limits, and prices may change from time to time. Access to third-party services such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, Firebase, or Stripe may affect availability. We may suspend or limit access where needed to protect the service, users, students, or legal compliance.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, any liability that can be limited is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having the service supplied again.

9. Intellectual Property and User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, display, transmit, and use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. The Reportinator, its design, branding, code, and service features remain owned by TeachSmarts or its licensors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Reportinator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or loss-of-profit damages, or for losses caused by user content, third-party services, school policy decisions, unauthorised account use, or your failure to review content before use.

11. Indemnity

You agree to take responsibility for claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your failure to obtain required authority or consent for data you provide.

12. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using The Reportinator at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or the service is being misused.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable laws of the Australian state or territory connected with the dispute, unless another law must apply.
